For Foodies: Organizations and Farms

Slow Food Western Slope functions as a chapter of Slow Food USA, a non-profit educational organization. Our chapter covers a good stretch of land in Mesa, Delta and Montrose counties in western Colorado. This area is rich in farms, orchards, ranches, vineyards and the arts and epitomizes the concepts of Slow Food – people live Slow Food. We actively support school programs and sponsor the Kids’ Pasta Project. We also hold events that celebrate the good, clean food of the area.
